PES2017 Smoke Patch 9.8.4
Smoke update version 9.8.4 is an update for smoke patch 9.8 world cup edition, this can be applied for any version starting with 9.8, no need to remove or install previous updates, this version database is converted from smoke patch X23, please read the release before downloading or installing the update for all relative information.
This update was heavily tested to resolve any issues, please note we have removed the tattoos system from the patch as it conflicts with the stadium exterior views and tattoos will cause bugs and crashes and we do not recommend adding them for the moment.

X20 Database:
9.8 shares the database of X20 software, this means all the players and stats, teams, kits, squads and all database related files are directly converted from pes 2018 smoke patch X20.

New national teams:
Total number of national teams are now 133, we added 20 new nationals, all the teams and clubs added can be used in all game modes and can be selected in all national competitions.

A lot of graphic updates in this version, including updated models for balls, boots and gloves.
Faces and Tattoos:
This version have a huge face upgrade, total faces added in smoke patch 9.8 is around 4300 faces, all faces are optimized for best performance and faster fps.
we included a lot of tattoos in this version, more than 400 players have correct tattoos and all are 100% compatible and does not conflict with the patch system files
World Cup Squads:
The squads for the national teams are mostly updated, some teams still needs some correction when all teams announces their world cup call-ups, there will be a small update to complete the world cup teams.
Kits:
A lot of kits update in this version, all kits are converted from X20, and any kits update we make will be included in both versions in updates.

Installation:
- Extract patch files
download all parts and be sure all are completed, extract only part one the rest will be extracted automatically, don't move any of the installation files or folders.
- Run Setupsmoke980.exe
run the installer and choose PES 2017 installation folder, the patch must be installed in the same game folder, be sure you don't get errors and that the installer finished successfully.

PES 2018 Smoke Patch update X23
Update X23 version (10.2.3) is made for patch X20, it can update any version you have starting with X20, no need to remove or install older versions.
Please read the release notes before downloading or installing smoke patch or updates.

Compatibility Issues:
Konami released multiple data packs and game versions lately, every time this happens some files have to be modified to accommodate these updates, this would also result in malfunction with some game version.
Update X23 have a reworked system files included to make sure all games are compatible without any additions.

Fixed reported Issues:
In previous versions we got reports about some bugs in the game (examples: Nigeria crash when making a sub), these issues is now resolved.
other enhancements regarding players attributes, bugged faces, missing kits and similar issues is now resolved.
World cup squads:
Some players where not present in our database for the world cup, now they are added to smoke database and assigned to their respective national teams.
Classic players in master league:
Reports about some of the classic players appears in master league even with the option is turned off, this issue happens if the master league started with version X21, and should not happen with this version after the teams system files is reworked.
Please note that editing the patch with an external editor will result in this issue, external editors are made to work with standard game teams and would not correctly configure the classic teams and results in classic players appearing in master league, using external editor is not recommended.
